We at 1^st 4Immigration Ltd do everything we can to protect the privacy of our clients.   

Data we collect

The Data we may collect includes, but is not limited to:

• • Your name, address and contact details including your email address and telephone number.
  • Your banks details, National Insurance number, Identification.
  • Any case matter information you may provide to us or information that we request to assist you with matters as a course of our business.
  • Any information in documents that you provide including income, pension, estate, company details that might assist us in handling your case matter.

How your Data is used

Unless we are obliged by law to do so, your personal data will not be disclosed to any third parties.

There is an obligation by law for us to disclose your data and/or documents to our regulator, the OISC, who can request to examine your file on demand or randomly chosen during their audit.

In the course of our business, we may need to share your personal data with the Government authorities, courts, official visa application centres and similar. Sometimes we have to request translations of your documents, or work with your accountant or another legal adviser, in such cases we will obtain your consent first. 

Although we do not share your data with third parties (except as specified above), we use external platforms to store the data, such as Dropbox, Xero, email and similar facilities via our password-protected account(s). We also use external payment processors, such as Stripe or similar. An accounting software, such as Xero, is used for our book-keeping and accounts and is shared with our appointed accountants, albeit for the minimum required for this purpose (and not the whole case file).

Marketing

By agreeing to this policy, such as when ticking a box to Book a Consultation or Submit your enquiry, you are agreeing for your details (namely, email address) to be added on our database. We will use it to send your emails that we may see relevant, such as about changes in the visa rules, important deadlines or useful tips, such as what happens to your legal status while your visa application is pending. You can unsubscribe with a simple one-click anytime. We do not pass your details to others. 

Access to your personal Data

You have the right to request details of the personal Data which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. Please note that a small administration fee in the sum of £10 will be payable to us, we send this information by email or another electronic format, such as Dropbox. We may collect and store statistical information to analyse how parts of this Website are used. This may include the use of “cookies” which are small files which are stored on your computer’s browser or hard drive. This data is anonymous and contains no personally identifiable data about you.
