Compliance Services for Entrepreneurs & Investors

If you have a Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) visa:

For a yearly fee we help Entrepreneurs to comply with the Rules (and changes of the Rules) while they are holding a visa. For example, during the 3 years of an initial Entrepreneur visa you have to register a business within specific time limit, create 2 jobs for certain types of people and for the duration of 12 months for each job. If one of the jobs has not lasted for a year, or if several jobs do not make up to a year, or if a job was not for a settled worker, then you won’t be able to secure a further extension in this category after the initial 3 years. That’s while you are already risking £200,000! When the time comes to extend your visa after 3 years, you would be ready.

Our compliance service includes:

-  Unlimited number of questions re the Immigration Rules (related to this visa category)  over the course of a year, so you would have someone to ask if you need an advice.

- Reminder of the relevant deadlines, such as a deadline for registering a business or creating jobs. For example, the 2 jobs must have lasted minimum 12 months, that’s time of employment, not including the time between employees.

- Relevant checks, such as whether a person you are about to employ is eligible to be counted under the Entrepreneur visa scheme.

- Guidance on investment of the main amount (£50,000 or £200,000 depending on your initial application type) from the immigration point of view, such as “paying yourself isn’t counted”. Or working as a contractor is not counted either.

- Documents you needed to keep, with relation to this visa. For example, when you employ a new employee.

- Advice on what to do if your circumstances change. For example, if you wish to change from trading a sole trader to having a limited company.

- Other conditions, such as restrictions on working in the UK or whether your dependants can work.

Please note: this is compliance service (not application service). We can also help with an application when the time comes for you to apply, for which we have a separate fee (application service fee). Application includes advising on documents required for the visa application; checking the documents are in order, in the correct format and contain the correct details; completing the application form, writing a cover letter, submission to the Home Office and acting as your representative up to the point of the decision on your case. You can read about applying for a TIER 1 (ENTREPRENEUR) VISA here.

If you have a Tier 1 (Investor) visa:

For a yearly fee we guide Investors to comply with the Rules (and changes of the Rules) while they are holding a visa. For example, an Investor has 3 months from the issue of a visa (or from the entry to the UK if a visa was issued abroad) to invest the equivalent of GBP 750 000 in the ways specified in the Immigration Rules and it does not include property. The remaining amount of GBP 250 000 does not have to be invested but still has to be maintained in the permitted ways. Investments have to be maintained for the duration of the visa, which includes compensating the value if the market changes. If investment rules, for both GBP 750 000 and 250 000 have not been met, then you won’t be able to secure a further extension in this category after the initial 3 years. With our guidance we when the time comes to extend your visa, you would be ready. If you are able to invest more then we could guide you towards an accelerated route for permanent residency, which can be as soon as after 2 years in the UK.

Our compliance service includes:

-  Unlimited number of questions re the Immigration Rules (related to this visa category) over the course of a year, so you would have someone to ask if you need an advice.

- Reminder of the relevant deadlines, such as a deadline for investing or making a new application.

- Advice on whether investment(s) meets the requirements of the Immigration Rules. This is advice on the type of an investment, if you require someone to arrange an investment for you, you would need an financial adviser for that (we can recommend the financial companies/banks who offer services to Investor visa holders but you are not obliged to use them).

- Guidance on whether your investments continue to meet the requirements after the point of investment. For example, what to do if the stock market changes and value of your investments goes down.

- Documents you need to keep, in relation to this visa category.

- Advice on what to do if your circumstances change.

- Other conditions, such as whether you and your dependants can work in the UK.
