EEA FAMILY PERMIT for dependants of European citizens We can apply for an EEA Family Permit on behalf of the customers who are already in the UK. An EEA Family Permit can be issued for family members of EEA nationals who are themselves not EEA nationals. For example, for South African family members of Spanish nationals who are living and working in the UK. An EEA Family Permit is an application under European Law and therefore, does not attract official Home Office fees (only our service fees apply). Generally, European Law is more 'generous' to the applicants. It has a broader range of eligible family members who can join their EEA family members in the UK. For example, under European Law, dependent children are those under age of 21, not 18 as under British Law. Also, a list dependants is extended to distant relatives.
